Welcome!

Introduction: Hey all! Welcome to the homepage for 'Thirst4Puma'! This is a student driven project that has started this week and is finishing around the beginning of June. yup.. thats right, only 9 weeks to do two projects plus do an essay, plus do a presentation plus do a showreel project!!

Any comments are most welcome, especially those that can offer advice when and where it is needed, but please keep in mind that making and keeping a blog is part of the course criteria so it won't be showing just our finish pieces of work but our ideas, our thoughts and opinions, our development and making process etc...

The project: To create an animated advert for a product designed by a student within the college. Must last no longer than 30secs.
We'll give rightful recognition to those we are working with and who are providing us with the product itself.

The product: Unfortunately we haven't been given much information about this yet, it's meant to be a lunchbox water bottle which is quite interesting. We haven't seen the product itself yet so we're a bit apprehensive but if it's ugly then it will make our job that much more challenging and interesting. We'll post most of the information about the product itself on the main webportal so we don't claim recognition for the work they have put in themselves.

The plan: Planning on spending the next two weeks brainstorming and coming up with initial ideas for both projects, this one and the nickelodeon indents projects, which soudns more fun, but will take alot more effort to produce as it's potentially goign to be shown on their channel, so it's got to look awesome.
The first thing I need to post on here is the timetable of the term plus our own timetable which will say what week is dedicated to what etc... Very helpful and our last project we failed to do this and trust me, we suffered for it. Note to self... PLAN! especially with so many projects on this term, not to mention all the other stuff we're committed to outside of college, fun eh?
